Greetings PHS family, today in weight training we continued our Intro to Sports Physiology and Biomechanics Unit. We began our day with 2 laps on the track (cardiovascular endurance). Next, students performed our dynamic and static stretching routine focusing on stretching the quadriceps muscle. Today's workout focus was on the lower body. Students performed a series of exercises working their lower bodies and abdominal muscles. We ended our day with our cool down static stretches. Let's have another great day tomorrow.
