Greetings PHS family, today in weight training we continued our Plyometric Training Unit. We began our day with 5 laps in the gym (cardiovascular endurance). Next, students performed our dynamic and static stretching routine focusing on stretching the calf muscle. Students performed a series of exercises focusing on their lower bodies and abdominal muscles. We ended our day with our cool down static stretches. Have a great weekend.

Next, students performed our dynamic and static stretching routine focusing on stretching the hip flexor muscle. Students performed a series of exercises focusing on their upper bodies and abdominal muscles. We ended our day with our cool down static stretches. Let's have another great day tomorrow.

Greetings PHS family, today in Weight Training we introduced our Plyometric Training unit. Students took a pre-test for the unit, followed by notes. Last, students ran a timed mile in the gym. We will begin olympic style lifts tomorrow in the weight room. Let's have another great day tomorrow.
