Greetings PHS family, Today in Weight Training we continued our Plyometric Training Unit. We began our day with 5 laps in the gym(cardiovascular endurance). Next, students performed our dynamic and static stretching routine focusing on stretching the hip flexor muscle. Students performed a series of exercises focusing on their upper bodies and abdominal muscles. We ended our day with our cool down static stretches. Let's have another great day tomorrow.

Greetings Falcon family, today in Wt. Training we continued the Fitness Gram Pre-test. Students recorded their push-ups & curl-ups (muscular endurance/strength) pre-test. Students also ran one mile on the track. We will compare their results (data) at a later date during the fall semester. Tomorrow we will complete the Fitness Gram Pre-test with the Pacer test. Greetings Falcon family, today in Wt. Training we began the Fitness Gram Pre-test. Students recorded their height, weight, and Sit & Reach (flexibility). Students also recorded their personal goals for each Fitness Gram test/fitness component. We will compare their results (data) at a later date during the fall semester. Tomorrow we will continue the Fitness Gram Pre-test with push-ups and curl-ups, and Mile run pre-test. Let's have another great day!
