Greetings PHS family, today in weight training we continued our Intro to Sports Physiology and Biomechanics Unit. We began our day with 2 laps on the track (cardiovascular endurance). Next, students performed our dynamic and static stretching routine focusing on stretching the hamstrings muscle. Today's workout focus was on the lower body. Students performed a series of exercises working their lower bodies and abdominal muscles. We ended our day with our cool down static stretches. Students please remember that your Intro to Sports Physiology and Biomechanics Unit test will be this Friday. Let's have another great day tomorrow.

Students performed a series of exercises working their upper bodies and abdominal muscles. We ended our day with our cool down static stretches. Students please remember that your Intro to Sports Physiology and Biomechanics Unit test will be this Friday. Let's have another great day tomorrow.
