Greetings PHS family, today in weight training we continued our Plyometric Training Unit. We began our day with 2 laps on the track (cardiovascular endurance). Next, students performed our dynamic and static stretching routine focusing on stretching the quadriceps muscle. Today's workout focus was on the upper body. Students performed a series of exercises working their upper bodies and abdominal muscles. We ended our day with our cool down static stretches. Students, please remember that we will have our Plyometric Training unit post-test this Friday. Please remember to review all vocabulary words and notes in order to help prepare you for the test. Greetings PHS family, today in PE students took their Circuit Training Post Test. Grades will be posted to synergy a week from today. After the test, students performed a 1 mile run on the track. Last, we performed our cool down static stretches to end the day. We will begin our Plyometric training unit on Monday.
