Greetings PHS family, today in weight training we continued our Circuit Training unit with Moderate and High intensity exercises. We began our day with running 2 laps around the track (cardiovascular endurance). Next, we performed our dynamic and static stretching routine focusing on stretching our hip flexor muscles. (muscular endurance, flexibility). Students performed well today during our high intensity workout. Students will continue to look at their Circuit Training data. This week we will continue to evaluate their workouts to make sure that they are progressing with each exercise. Students please remember that our first unit test will be this Friday 8/21/15. We ended our day with static stretches. Let's have another great day tomorrow!
